Really loved celebrating my wedding day in this dress because it was super comfortable, easy to put on, easy to move around in, and had so much movement in the skirt! I also really liked the elegance and detail of the lace top combined with the simplicity of the skirt. The train is short enough that I never tripped over it but made for some nice photos walking down the aisle and at the alter.
I really liked the silhouette of the A-line so I didn't want to do a traditional bustle that ruined the silhouette. My wedding dress tailor then made a simple hook bustle for part of the train and put two sheer wrist straps at the hem of the dress that I could easily slip on. As a ballroom dancer, I absolutely loved this as they were so much fun to dance with and created the opportunity for lots of fun photos.
I am 5'4.5" and wore this dress with both 2 inch heels (for which it was hemmed) and sandals with no heels (because dancing). Dress length worked for both of these and I did not trip at any point.
I wore this dress for 5 hours the day of the wedding and have since gotten it dry-cleaned. It's sitting in my closet, and I hope to find a new home for it. :) Happy to answer any questions you may have!
