Oscar de la Renta couture wedding gown.
This exquisite limited-edition couture gown was made to measure in 2010, while Mr de Renta himself helmed the brand, and is a vintage couture design that cannot be found anywhere else today.
Thousands of embroidered flowers cascade over layers of tulle in a strapless, A-line ballgown silhouette with a silk and tulle train. The petals, pearls and sequins were hand-embroidered by artisans in the US atelier, taking over 400 man-hours to create.
The design was customised with a matching embroidered halter neck strap that is removable and matches a satin belt sash. The matching tulle veil is embroidered with the same flowers, pearl and sequin embellishments.
The gown is elegant, exquisitely made, the tulle has an ethereal lightness and the dress sparkles when it catches the light.
